Despite the pandemic, KUCERA is fully operational. “Our clients will continue to be advised,” says Dr. Stefan Kucera, Managing Partner of KUCERA. KUCERA has activated contingency plans, which include the deployment of professionals from the home office and the maintenance of central back office functions in the firm. Travel and meetings will be avoided. “Instead, we rely on modern communication, which enables us to assist our clients at all times, even in these difficult times,” says Kucera, explaining the emergency concept. In addition, greater attention is being paid to hygiene in the offices; employees are encouraged to keep social contacts to a minimum. The notary’s office is nevertheless open until further notice. We will keep you informed about new developments.
Also this year the KUCERA team successfully participated in the world’s largest company run and supported the Foundations “Deutsche Sporthilfe” and “Deutsche Behindertensportjugend”.
For the first time the DKS (“Deutsche Kreditmarkt-Standards”) workshop took place at KUCERA in Frankfurt. Around 50 members and 4 guest speakers were invited to discuss topics such as loan collateral, true sale transactions and sustainability criteria for financing. Dr. Jörg Keibel (Deputy Chairman of the Board of DKS) led through the workshop and informed about the next events of DKS. After the presentations there was a “Get Together” where people could exchange ideas over snacks and drinks.
Isabel Tannenberg joined KUCERA as lawyer in the Real Estate Taxation department in 2011. In 2015 she was admitted as tax consultant.
Her practice focuses on tax and corporate law advise of national and international investors, open-end and closed-end real estate funds, insurance companies and project developers in connection with real estate transactions and structuring. In addition, she gives tax advise to her clients on lease agreements and supports them in and out of court.
With Isabel Tannenberg, KUCERA strengthens the field of real estate tax law with a home-grown partner, in particular with regard to value added tax, real estate transfer tax and real estate tax, and thereby takes one more step towards a new generation of partners.
We are pleased to welcome our new partner and notary Niels Wildberger and his team in the new year 2019.
KUCERA was the first tenant to move into its new premises in the „Kornmarkt Arkaden“. With around 2,000 square meters, KUCERA has leased all floors in the office building “Kornmarkt Kontor 3”. This is the monument-specific revitalization of the east wing of the former Federal Court of Audit.
Decisive for the relocation to Frankfurt is the closer proximity to many clients and the higher location attractiveness for young talents. In addition, the new office offers sufficient space for perspective growth. Thus, the law firm completes its range of services for the real estate industry with a notary. KUCERA will join forces with the Frankfurt law firm Wildberger + Wildberger. Read more…
